Exceptional Craftsmanship

Each case is precision built with close attention to detail. Our production manager / designer has over 25 years of professional high-end woodworking experience. Nothing leaves our shop without his final close inspection. Each guitar case comes fully assembled. Access N Sight guitar cases are quality and will last to become antiques.

 

Wood

We use only the finest select hardwoods and offer our cases in red oak, white oak, white oak quarter sawn, ash, walnut, cherry, maple and Mahogany. Finely sanded hardwood with clear finish looks naturally beautiful, so each piece is truly unique. Over time light will enhance the wood creating deeper richer colors.

 

Finish

We use clear, non-toxic finishes that dry very hard and look great. This preserves and enhances the natural beauty of the wood. We sand our cases very smooth and then finish the wood in its natural state. Sorry, we do not offer stains.
 

Hardware

We use strong brass hinges for our case doors. The latches and inside catch are beautiful brass and go well with the hinges and knobs. The locks used are strong cast metal with a brass finish on the outside. Two keys are included.
 
Glass

All of the glass in the sides and doors of each case is ¼″ laminated safety glass. This glass provides 90% UV protection. The top is ⅜″ tempered safety glass. All glass used is shatter proof and extremely strong! Glass used for all of our guitar display cases meet or exceeds industry safety standards. Because our cases have a great deal of glass, the inside will light up very nicely with a light placed on top or above, or a floor lamp placed on one or both sides.

 

Interior Upholstery
Guitar Collection Cases: The interior of each case is lined with soft faux fur. Guitars rest tilted back on thick cushion with headstocks resting on a padded back wall. Guitars are separated by soft dividers that fit into a bracket system designed to create a custom fit for each guitar. Whether you have acoustic guitars, semi hollow bodies or electrics you can arrange them where you like. This system allows for the maximum amount of guitars possible.

Guitar Wall Cases: The interior (back) of each wall case is lined with rich velvet. Each has a quality guitar hanger. Wall cases come with 4 holes for installation. Cases are screwed to the wall from the inside. The mounting holes have been placed 16″ apart to line up with wall studs. 4 screws are Included. Very strong!
 

 

Gauges

Access N Sight guitar cases now come with a digital Hygrometer and thermometer.

 

Guitar Humidification

Each case is precision designed with doors that seal. This seal, along with the temperature and humidity gauge (included) make it possible to better manage and maintain an environment best suited and essential for guitars. Guitar Collection Case models are designed with a compartment inside for passive humidifiers. Containers for water are included with each case. If humidity is needed, humidification is as simple as placing the small containers filled with water in the compartment. The room temperature where the case is kept should be between 69 to 78 degrees to allow the creation of humidity from the water in the case, 72 degrees is best.

The ideal humidity for guitars is between 44% and 50%, 47% being optimal. Creating the best conditions for our guitars can be a challenge. With all of the varying climates and varying guitar collections, there is not a one size fits all approach. But having a clean sealed place to store guitars and humidify, with gauges for monitoring is hard to achieve without a product such as this. Even if you have a hard time maintaining the best conditions where you play, maintaining the best conditions while guitars are stored is always wise.
 

Guitar Dehumidification

Two much humidity can be a problem as much as not enough. If you live where too much humidity is a problem, Access N Sight guitar cases can serve as a layer of protection. Upon request, we will include for our customers tyvec-packaged desiccant canisters or packs. Because our guitar cases seal, while closed up the tyvec packs will absorb moisture. As with humidification, even if you have a hard time maintaining humidity levels where you play guitar, dehumidifying (when needed) while guitars are stored is always wise.

 

Temperature

A comfortable temperature for humans (69F to 78F) is also good for guitars. Guitars can withstand limited cooler or warmer temperatures but fast temperature change can be harmful, especially with acoustic guitars. Access N Sight guitar cases protect guitars from sudden temperature change. Because of the seal, temperature change is always gradual inside of the case when the doors are closed. Always avoid direct sun light.
